Application
To get the best results from your Weedmat, follow these professional tips:
- Surface Preparation: Clear the area of all existing weeds and sharp rocks. Level the soil to ensure the fabric sits flush against the ground.
- Installation: Roll out the weedmat and secure it firmly using Ground Staples (Weedmat Pins) spaced every 500mm-1m.
- Overlapping: When joining two rolls, ensure an overlap of at least 100mm and pin through both layers to prevent weed breakthrough at the seams.
- Coverage: Cover the mat immediately with 50-100mm of Pebbles or Decorative Stone. This protects the fabric from UV exposure and holds it securely in place.
