Application
To get the best results from your Builders Mix, follow these professional tips:
- Mixing Ratio: For general concrete, we recommend a ratio of approximately 5-6 parts Builders Mix to 1 part Cement.
- Water Management: Add water gradually until you reach a “workable” consistency. Avoid over-watering, as this can weaken the final cured concrete.
- Setting Posts: When using for fence posts, ensure the hole is clear of loose debris. Pour the mix and use a tamping tool to remove air pockets.
- Curing: For larger slabs or paths, keep the concrete slightly damp for the first few days to prevent rapid drying and surface cracking.
