Application: Laying Your Edging
To get perfectly straight lines and a professional finish, follow these steps:
- Trenching: Use a flat-head spade to cut a shallow trench slightly wider than the paver.
- Base Layer: For the best longevity and to prevent sinking, lay a 20mm bed of No.2 Paving Sand in the trench before placing the pavers.
- Leveling: Use a string line and a rubber mallet to tap the pavers into place, ensuring they sit flush with your lawn for easy mowing.
- Backfilling: Once laid, pack soil or Premium Garden Mix against the garden side to lock the pavers in place.
